In particular, the noise due to the railway circulation is assuming a specific relevance, and has given rise to various studies, design interventions on vehicles and protective works on the site (noise barriers). In particular, Directive 85/337 / EEC (V. European Union) of 27 June 1985, concerning the assessment of the environmental impact of certain public and private projects, requires the EIA in the construction of railway lines, as well as other national provisions
