It is a simplified and economical variant of the European rail traffic management system, suitable for train control on lines with low traffic volume, generally on simple track, typical when renewing or introducing signalling equipment, in order to have global safety, automatically integrated between track and board. Typically in the central place remote from the line, where the operators responsible for train traffic management, called TCC (Traffic Control Centre), are located, the functions of train spacing and route management (routes) are integrated. All this by means of modules that, if discrete, are identified by the RBC (Radio Block Centre), by the CTC (Centralised Traffic Control) remote control of the station equipment and by the ACCM (station interlocking).
