This is a solution to avoid handover between RBCs at the Central Post, by using the RBC Front End – Back End configuration. In this way a “front” computer acquires data from the line and from the train that, sorted by block section, makes them available to the “back” computer for the operations of “route and distance management”. This “back”, as soon as the relevant operational information for the trains has been processed, makes it available to the “front” which sends it to the trains. This solution avoids to install in a long distance some RBCs (e.g. one RBC every 80-100 km) in the Central Post, avoiding the Handover between RBCs, besides the one necessary between BTS. V.
