Human reliability

Definition and analysis of the behavior and human actions, in analogy to the study of Reliability. Concerns the probability of completing successfully and correct a specific task by one or more operators, within a certain time (if there is time constraint) and certain operating and environmental conditions, in order to guarantee the availability or the safety of a location or procedure. These include the study of human errors, causes and actions to make them null and void or limit the risk. More generally it concerns in the assessment of overall Reliability of systems in which human intervention is still a significant component
