In safety systems, the demonstration (Demonstration) of how the design or operation of a system meets the safety requirements specified in the specification is thus defined.More generally referred to the analysis process and the procedures put in place to analytically demonstrate certain levels or safety requirements. It is conducted by the supplier, the operator or by specialized agencies recognized in this field. It is generally structured in the following parts: Definition of (System description),Safety management report (Demonstration of project management according to Quality criteria), Technical safety report (Description of the implementation measures to obtain the Safety), Related Safety Cases (Description of the Safety Cases of other subsystems or systems necessary for the functioning of the considered system), Conclusion (Conclusions). The Quality management report and the Safety management report aim to reduce the incidence of human errors related to safety during the life cycle, thus lowering the residual risk of systematic defects(Systematic fault); the Technical Safety Report aims to minimize accidental failures (Random fault). In some countries (Great Britain) the Safety Case also represents the set of rules and documentation recognized and requested by the Safety Regulatory Authority because the railway company is authorized to operate
