SRS. System requirements specification. Within a project it includes and translates into technical requirements the functions defined in the specification of functional requirements FRS. SRS is a document dedicated to designers and includes a description of the requirements and operating conditions according to the operating environment, software and hardware. In the specification there may be both requirements concerning both safety and others; the safety requirements (Safety Requirements Specification) in turn include the functional safety requirements (Safety Functional Requirements), relating to safety-related functions, as well as the immunity requirements against dangerous failures (Safety Integrity Requirements). The latter, in particular, include both the requirements on immunity from random failures (Random failure integrity) and the requirements on immunity from systematic failure (Systematic failure integrity).
