Triple Module Redundance

TMR. 2oo3. Triple modular redundancy. In computerized security systems, an architecture consisting of three independent computers, connected in parallel and used for the same process, in which security is ensured by comparing the outputs of the same computers, performed by independent hardware. Safe operation is guaranteed even if one of the three processors fails. Compared to Double Module Redundance (DMR), it has features of greater availability, while compared to the Dual Double Module Redundance (DDMR) and Multi-Redundant Modules with Auto Comparison/Safety Control, it has comparable availability characteristics
